Everything begins with zero

Zero is not emptiness. It is permission — the quiet space before identity, before the first stitch. PHASEZERO started there: a passing comment about lacking vision, taken seriously enough to answer with a brand. [Founded YEAR] in Kathmandu by three curious seekers, we began with a leap of faith and a room of fabric stacked in piles, and learned to walk the way anyone does — one unsteady step, then the next.

Made in Mind

Products are made in a factory. Brands are made in the mind. Every PHASEZERO piece begins as an idea about how it feels to be young, Nepali and awake — and only then becomes a garment. Made in Mind is our editorial practice as much as our label: a serialised magazine, rooted in Nepali consciousness and artist collaboration, where wearables appear as proof of an idea rather than the point of it. Consciousness precedes commerce.

No one owns the Art

We do not believe in thinking outside the box. Here there is no box at all. Authenticity is hard — a vision has to survive the distance from mind to canvas, and our canvas is fabric. So we work slowly, in the open, and we keep the roughness. Process over product.

The studio
